Our Selling Process

Choosing the right agent is the first - and arguably the most important - step when selling a property, no matter whether it’s a home, commercial real estate or investment property.

We have a tried and tested 4 step process which ensures you receive the best outcome when you sell your home with Gary Peer.

Step 1 - Contact Gary Peer

Your first step is to sign a listing agreement with Gary Peer - we'll help you with everything. Following this, a contract of sale is arranged through a solicitor.

Step 2 - Get ready for the sale

The pre-sale process involves several important actions that will set your listing up for roaring success. Firstly, the auction date is chosen and the auctioneer is booked, if we've decided this is the best process of sale for your property. You'll then receive a copy of your sale contract from the solicitor and the marketing process will kick off, starting with the photography of your property, and all marketing materials being prepared for you to approve. Gary Peer will get in touch with buyers on our database and conduct off-market inspections for any interested parties. Following the buyer inspections, our team will solicit offers, and launch your property online - if it hasn't already sold off-market. As we have an extensive database, it’s highly possible we won’t need to take your property to the ‘live’ stage - we often sell to buyers off-market which will save you time, and money on marketing.

Step 3 - We're live, let's go!

Once the property is live, we'll commence open house inspections and private appointments. If you've chosen to sell via auction, the auction will be conducted with trademark Gary Peer flair. In the case of a sale via private agreement, we'll start collecting offers from interested parties and negotiate the sale price. When we have obtained the best offer possible for your property, we'll accept a deposit and all the contracts are signed.

Step 4 - Going, going… sold. Congratulations, you’ve sold with Gary Peer.

The final stages of the selling process are fairly straight forward - we’ll provide your contract of sale to your legal representatives and ensure all the I's are dotted and T's are crossed. You will be responsible for the care of the property until settlement, and when the home settles, the new owners move in.
